Electronic & Electrical Engineering
Electronic & Electrical Engineering undergraduate at Obafemi Awolowo University exploring the intersection of drones, machine learning, robotics, and intelligent monitoring systems for real-world impact.
What I Work On
My work lives at the intersection of aerial systems, intelligent software, and real-world hardware.
About Glory
Glory Akanbi is an Electronic and Electrical Engineering undergraduate at Obafemi Awolowo University whose work spans UAV systems, robotics, embedded technologies, machine learning, and technical research. Alongside engineering, she is actively involved in student leadership, STEM outreach, technical writing, and collaborative innovation projects connecting technology with real-world problem solving.
Her interest in engineering grew from a deep curiosity about how systems work โ from electronics and automation to intelligent machines capable of sensing, communicating, and making decisions. Over time, this curiosity evolved into hands-on involvement in drone systems, autonomous technologies, AI/ML projects, and research-driven exploration around intelligent monitoring systems and applied robotics.
Through her experience with drone development teams and technical communities, she has worked on UAV assembly, aerial imaging workflows, drone testing, and flight operations โ gaining practical exposure to control systems, embedded electronics, system integration, and intelligent aerial technologies. She has also contributed to projects involving machine learning, computer vision, predictive systems, and data-driven engineering applications.
Her current interests focus on UAV autonomy, intelligent sensing systems, computer vision, embedded systems, and the use of AI-driven technologies in healthcare, agriculture, and environmental monitoring. She is particularly interested in how autonomous systems and data can be combined to build technologies that are practical, adaptive, and impactful in real-world environments.
I work on projects and ideas around UAV systems, machine learning, robotics, and intelligent monitoring technologies. My interests currently span drone autonomy, aerial imaging workflows, computer vision, and AI-driven systems for real-world applications in agriculture, healthcare, and automation.
